Riley Lawson graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and mathematics. During his undergraduate experience, he researched energy storage systems such as RFBs and potential applications of EVs for grid support. He is interested in working towards solving the challenges faced by increased levels of renewable energy present in the grid to allow for a more sustainable, renewable future.
